This scholarship recognizes resilient students with disabilities who have demonstrated perseverance in overcoming challenges while maintaining a commitment to academic achievement and their future goals. Our mission is to invest in the next generation of leaders, advocates, and professionals who will help build a more inclusive and accessible world.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a high school senior entering their first year of college.
- Have a diagnosed disability.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Plan to enroll in an accredited college or university.
Essay Requirement
Applicants must submit an original essay of at least 1,000 words addressing the following topics:
- Describe your physical disability and how it has shaped your life.
- Share the obstacles you have overcome and the lessons you have learned through those experiences.
- Explain how you will promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in your school, career, and community.
- Describe how you will advocate for individuals with disabilities.
- Explain your intended field of study and why you are passionate about pursuing it.
