In August Strides 4 Gianluca takes part in the checking for charity tournament. All teams in this tournament skate for a charity of their choice and the tournament’s registration fees are dispersed to all charities represented.
A charity hockey game with NHL alumni and friends will be played to raise money not only for Strides 4 Gianluca and cerebral palsy awareness but also support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and research for institutions for CP. This year’s game will be played on Saturday October 11th at 5:00pm. It will feature NHL alumni such as Brian Propp, Riley Cote, Grant Marshall, Kerry Fraser and more players to be announced! Chirping Pucks will have a live podcast during the game with player and spectator interviews and a great raffle with some incredible items such as autographed Flyers jerseys, Flyers game tickets, handbags and many more prizes!
